Jon Byrne - Cocaine

A Music video shot using both Super 16 and Digital. The director, Dominic Thomas, used an ARRI SR2 and the Panasonic HPX 500 to investigate the differences between film and digital. It was shot in Stoke on Trent.

All exteriors, wide shots, dolly shots & artist facing camera were all on film. I belive only a few video cut aways made it to the edit. Credit to the edit & grading it's difficult to tell at youtube resolution! The warehouse shots were lit from behind with a couple of 2k (in the room but out of shot), with front fill from about 4 redheads. Just enough, on film at least, to get some detail through the window of the buildings outside.. I doubt the video camera had the latitude to show that.. Boyd
