Using strategy and planning as Lithuania in order to defeat a superior Tutonic army.

3 Balista Units were placed high up on the right flank protected by a ring of spearmen in schiltron formation (quite a useful strategy and formation).

the main forced contained followers of perkunas backed up by the general.

about 5 units of archers where hidden in the woods, set to hold fire. 2 units of cavalry were hidden behind them.

the plan was to enage the enemy with the balistas as they closed, then charge with the main force. As the main force made contact the archers were to fire at will, and the cavalry were to engage and flank.
the spearmen supporting the balistas were to support the right flank and attack the left flank of the enemy formation.

not everything goes to plan, but i still turned the battle around even with the initial routing of my men and the loss of my general.

when some of my main battle line routed they rallied later on and i just sent them crashing into the enemys now exposed flanks.

  • @TheGator2000 Get back to school and read some history, troll. In that ages lithuania was far stronger, before teutonic order came, whole russia feared of us. We even won a few battles vs mongols and some of them joined our side (tartars) . The reason why Lithuania and poland once united is that we had military power, but we didn't had a lot of important technology from the west.

  • @NightwishLover2012 bastards.didn't dare to fight the teutons alone.

  • @BloodyHellDevil I don't think so. In this video it shows the Lithuanian forces speaking English with an accent. I don't know if you can change the language settings for the game, but playing it in English, none of the factions actually SPEAK their own language aside from maybe peppering a few words in between the English dialogue, but it's still mostly just English with an accent.

  • Man I never get tired of this replay, what a cool battle.

  • does each faction speak their own language in the game?

  • @Kaghzar noob im better understand.Lithuania never say to poland to be a colony because translators bad translated one lithuanian word "prislieta" to polish because there is no prislieta translation to polish. Sorry for bad english

  • @arnius100 Not really. she was not world best country but she was best europe country :)

  • Awesome!

  • Lithuania is damn epic. They united with Poland and PWNED the teutons UTTERLY. Už Lietuvą!

  • Lietuviai visados laimi :D
