The government in Canada does not have a say in treatment at all. Canada has physician-run health care. The US has insurance-run health care, and insurance companies DO interfere with treatment decisions.

This woman is a liar who is most likely being paid lots of money to make appearances like this one. At the beginning of the video, she claims that she "survived a brain tumor," and that had she relied on the Canadian health care system, she'd be dead. She actually had a non life threatening cyst known as a rathke's cleft cyst. The ad also makes the claim that "Washington wants to bring Canadian-Style health care to the U.S." This is also a lie. Obama is not proposing this type of a plan.

Shona Holmes is a fucking disgrace to Canada. She's a liar who had a benign cyst and didnt want to wait to have it removed, so she ran off to the states and got charged a fortune which is why shes selling her soul to the Republican Party and Fake News. Shes doing this to pay for the operation that she would have gotten for free in Canada.
