In the late 1930s - early 1940s, social groups + gangs called "Swing Jugen" or Swing Kids emerged among the youth of Nazi Germany to rebel against obvious Fascist Anarcho-Capitalist Dictatorship regime, as they watched their freedoms being stripped away + Free Democratic society disappearing around them. To show their contempt, hatred + resistance, they used Swing music, American culture + British fashion to rebel against Nazi authority in every way + every waking moment of their lives. Many were involved in the underground resistance, forming violent gangs revolting with force against Nazis around Germany + spying for the Allies. Others, unfortunately gave into pressure of the Hitler youth recruiting + were forced against their will to join the HJ, "Hitler Jugen". Youth Hitler law enforcement trained early to become soldiers. This turned friend against friend, lover against lover, brother against brother + families split apart or eliminated.
These are clips of a movie my real life friend, David, or ("David the Scottish Panther") @ myspace, reminded me of + we watched together, a few years ago. I hadn't seen it in years + kind of forgot it. I saw it before.
But i love it again after that.
It NOW reminds me so much of the way things are NOW, during this Economic Crisis, with crazy dangerous Far Right Conservatives, Racists, Neo-Nazi, Libertarian + Redneck Protesters at these public TownHall meetings for Public Healthcare, some of them genuine grassroots Protesters but nearly all of them Fake astroturf "Protesters", bussed around the country + financed by the Wealthiest multi-millionaire + billionaire Far Right Conservative "real" American private interests, Wealthiest business CEOs, Wealthiest Anglo-Germanic Aristocratic inheritance trust fund families, Wealthiest corporations + Industry executives, to disrupt by YELLING so loud that they drown out discussion, free speech + their cohorts, the Far Right Neo-Nazi militias joining to help them, violently soon.
This is how Democracy dies.
It's how it happened in the years leading up to Nazi Germany, in 1926-1932, with Freikorp angry WWI war veteran Racists, Nazi SA militia + their rural German "Redneck" followers, doing Protests, some were Fake astroturf "Protests" + some genuine grassroots Protests by rural farmers but all funded by the Wealthiest millionaire + billionaire Far Right Conservative, "pure" "Aryan" non-Jew "real" German blooded private interests, "real" German" business CEOs, Wealthiest Aristocratic Inheritance trust fund "real" German families, Wealthiest "real" German corporations + "real" German industry executives, to disrupt public discussions + Labor Union situations, with brutal violent assaults + massacres to stop regular people fighting for their worker rights for a better life and better pay.
This lead to a Fringe Far Right 3rd Party politican gain popularity, rise to power and his party seize power out of obscurity. He was Adolph Hitler + the Nazi Party in 1933.
it used to remind me so much of the way things were the last 8 years under today in the US under Cheney and Rove, who were almost like our Hitler and Himmler.
But if history repeats, our new Adolph Hitler will be a Ron Paul or Alex Jones or similar Far Right nutjob.
we got our rebellious youth between ages 15 - 35 that me, Shannon, David and our other friends are a part of that are rebelling against the Fascism of our arrogant regime in any way we can, just like the Swing kids in Germany in 1939!

No, we've started to watch this movie at school (in german, not in english) .and we don't finished yet.. So i want to see the full movie. (we've got holidays now) But i don't find it in german :(
