  • @Cordine09 Yep, Cameron announced it the day after I commented x) I'm quite glad about that, at least we'll get someone from a stage!

  • @ohmyrowling96 Actually, I think it's Samantha Barks, Taylor Swift was considered, but the role ultimately went to Samantha, who played has played Eponine before.

  • 1:02 Is it just me or does Marius sound 100000x wimpier when he's talking about love?

  • @surita88 It's Taylor Swift.... I don't know about you, but I'm panicking!

  • @cloudsat7326 But! Valjean gave Cosette a good life. I've always thought that was the most moving part. He and Fantine sacrificed themselves so she could be spared the kind of lives they had to live. Fantine becomes an Angel... and Valjean is welcomed into Heaven at the end. So like... they earned Mercy for themselves in the end because the selflessness of their lives?

  • 2 people are out of their minds!

  • When you think about it Eponine dies the happiest death in the play. She dies in the arms of the love of her life. Fantine died unsure of what torcher awaits her daughter. The boys at the barricade died young in a war that changed nothing. Javert commits suicide after the life he knew was washed away. Valjean died after a life of poverty and fear of the law, he died never having lived. Everybody else dies in misery BUT Eponine.

  • frances and lea's version of this are the only one i love, the others are TOO "my voice should shake and not be able to understand what i am singing because i'm dying" like the recent ones, i hope in the 2012 movie they wouldn't butcher it

  • I've grown up listening to the recording of the Original Broadway cast. Frances' version of Eponine is always the one that I like most. I feel her voice is so unique. Some of the other Eponines on youtube sound so similar.

But it's probably just that "the one you're used to is the one that sounds proper" thing.
