Americans have become a bunch of sheeple, too busy watching American Idol and all the idiot reality shows, concerned about what the celebrities are doing by reading all the crap magazines, and constantly texting each other mindless dribble.

Most can't name their own senators or reps but know all the winners and probably runners-up on American Idol. Most can't spell, don't know basic geography, and continue to gorge themselves on junk food. I doubt if most have ever read a book.

@lastfanstanding999 We Swedes give the State administration a 3rd of our income. How's that for working for the government! Add to that a 25% tax on everything you buy. We're in this sh!t together. There's a file on most of us too. Information gathered via Google, Facebook, Youtube...you name it. A friend of a friend visited the Swedish headquarters for Facebook inc. There was no plate telling on what floor they were at, no elevator sign, and finally at the door - it had guards!

A friend told me that Americans have to save receipts from their shopping, to show the IRS if they knock on your door! To prove you haven't been working extra without paying taxes for it, I suppose. That's worse than in my socialist country. Is this true?
