@smoweeks games workshop makes and sells them. try a hobby or comic store

Heroscape is cheaper and easy to begin with.
The problem with most miniature games are the companies them and the marketing they have. For example:
Mage Knight (death)
Mechwarrior (death)
Dungeons and Dragons (death)
Star Wars (dying).
The only old survivors are Heroclix and Axis and Allies just for now.

HS is intended for people who enjoy board-games *SIMILAR* to warhammer and such. But HS has the unique quality of being quicker, and easier to take out of the box and play. Un-like GW games. Furthermore. Your a nerd.

Heroescape is what got me into GamesWorkshop, but I like Gw alot better

Warhammer takes quite a long time to set up and play a game, really only for hardcore players who are willing to spend a couple hours to play a game.
Heroscape is alot faster and more simplistic, if you plan to have much of a life outside of minitures i would suggest heroscape. (no offense intended to those that like warhammer)
