Charlie Chaplin's 14th Film Released May 07 1914

Chaplin plays a wife jealous of her husband's interest in another woman, played by Phyllis Allen. On her way to attack the couple, the wife interrupts the set of a film, knocking over a film director, played by Mack Sennett, and a policeman, played by Billy Gilbert

  • Thanks for the description...I actually just thought he/she was going around bugging people! I don't always pick up the intricacies of silent film plots, but that can make them even funnier!

  • I've always thought that an actor's career just isn't complete without dressing in drag at least once. That (and other factors) makes me very happy to see Mr. Chaplin in a dress :P.
