Battlefield 3 Crash to desktop fixed using MSI afterbrun!

I forgot to say that you need to Unlock voltage control in MSI Afterburn under the settings button

Before trying this you should also make sure that you are using newest driver firmware.

Changing the voltage core this little shouldn't change the life time of your card, because it is such a small change and the 560 ti voltage core is so low

I have a Nvidia 560 Ti Graphic card

You can download msi afterburn here: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

  • Am I still able to use the MSI afterburner with my Gigabyte 560 Ti?

  • @TheGreyDaisy Yes my card is also a Gigabyte 560 Ti. Msi afterburn should work with all nvidia card and maybe also ati

  • I can't change the core voltage at all

  • how to change the voltage

  • @RexEuropa what are the default clock speeds of your card. i just got a gigabyte gtx 560 ti from newegg last friday. afterburner shows the default voltage at 1000 and core clock 822. i think 1000 too low. my gts 450 has a core clock of 810mhz and voltage at 1025.

  • sometimes you buy a card and the voltage is grayed out in afterburner and there is nothing you can do. i've seen this on 2 cards so far. msi gtx 560 non ti twin frozr 2 clocked at 870 and gigabyte gtx 460v2. i hate that, no reason for it.

  • sometimes the manufacturers set the wrong voltages. these numbers have worked in every nvidia card i own. i got these numbers directly from afterburner on a gtx 550 ti.

    voltage=1075, core clock=900, shader=1800, memory clock=2052.

  • @ImMistrex i did and nothing happens, that is what i am trying to fix

  • thanks it helped :)

    you're my god

and a life saver i subbed and rated

  • @baggabooga

just go to settings and tick unlock core voltage

  • help! i cant change the core voltage or fan speed

  • @Morpheusgames Yeah mine is in the Mid range... yours is in the high range
