I believe All species are born equal.
1. All animals experience the sensations of negative emotion and Pain.
2. All animal show restriction to these sensations hence shows they do not enjoy them just like us.
3. Most animals take pleasure from the opportunity of living into the future.
4. Most animals experience very negative sensations before this expectation is destroyed.
5. Humans attain pleasure from meat. Animals attain loss of survival and pain in exchange for human pleasure. (inequality)

some people just love animals and think they shouldnt be killed at all for any reason.
some people think the killing of animals for food is wrong as alternatives are available.
some people think its wrong for animals to be mistreated and made to suffer, for any reason.
in their confusion, people are blending all these opinions into one single idea. and they're NOT the same thing.
i myself eat meat, and have no problem with killing for sport/food, but i dont agree with the cruelty.
