This is the latest mod on the 2.4Ghz Walkera Lama 400D Co-axial helicopter. While many flyers have suggested that this heli is slugglish when flying because of the helicopters massive size as a co-axial, we replaced the 380 stock motors with a twin brushless motor system for more power, replaced the stock landing gear with the lighter Super Skids 400 landing gear system, and changed the stock LIPO with a slightly lighter 11.1v 1,300Mah LIPO. The heli flys great -- no more slugglishness at all and more power makes this heli a joy to fly.

And then down the helicopter flew over a mountain and I pulled the throttle all the way. And my canopy is going broke! And that's it why I want to convert the Lama helicopter to the 400D, because the canopy is made of plastic.

@Digga765 It is partially metal and plastic. The plastic is hard plastic that cracks on hard crashes. The metal part are the two struts supported by two thick hard plastic support bars. It's heavy which makes this heli somewhat sluggish. Using something like the Super Skids 400 is lighter and just as strong.

@7RTFHELI Ya - most of these Helicopters are nothing more than "Gimmic Copters" their poorly made poorly designed and break very easily, NOT worth the money spent total Junk. you'll spend more time fixing the things than flying the junk !
