Jacksboro, Texas Tornado

Looking west from south of the intersection of highways 199 and 281, southeast of Jacksboro, Texas.

The second multiple vortex tornado was located just north of Perrin, Texas, and was located west of highway 281. I couldn't see the ground under the tornado, but other chasers were closer and confirmed that it did touch down.

The storm produced at least three other brief tornadoes along a line from west of Perrin to northwest of Mineral Wells.

The camcorder was handheld for this one due to rain and light hail where I was located. Storm movement was south-southeast toward Mineral Wells. After getting into range later, I checked in to the SKYWARN net on 147.04 MHz.
