Eridanis Nadir...

Nadir is literally, Down, the opposite of Zenith, which is Up.

but metaphysically, these mean the Heighest Height and Lowest Low of your spirit

Eridanis is tricky, the word Eridanis is most commonly related to Stars and systems, in astronomy, and so is Zenith and Nedir, which makes sense in a song about the Sun...

but it could well be referring to someone John Knows personally, so i suppose we will never know for sure..

Once i was traveling on a train. I was resting on my seat with my eyes closed and listening to this song.

The song goes on and when it reaches the part when it says "as the sun has descended" i open my eyes and look outside the window. There is the beautiful scene of the sun touching the horizon and a deep orange color painting the entire landscape

Words cant explain how i felt hearing the song at that time.

@ghostrj @KSCIAA Eridanis is the genitive form of Eridanos (or Eridanus), that in Greek Mithology refers to a river of Hades (the underworld) where "to this very day the marsh exhales a heavy vapour which rises from his smouldering wound; no bird can stretch out its fragile wings to fly over that water, but in mid-flight it falls dead in the flames;". Eridanus aka Eri is also one of the 88 constellations in the sky.
