Live demonstration of the latest generation COMAND navigation system in the 2012 C-Class Coupe (C350). Voice recognition seems noticeably better than in my 2008 C-Class sedan while the inflection in the navigation voice has been altered to be more human and realistic. Add in the Sirius traffic built in and you have one killer navigation solution, all integrated from the manufacturer! Awesome stuff.

  • is this car FWD or RWD ?

  • @MrRuv10 This vehicle was rear-wheel drive. Any cars that don't have 4matic all-wheel drive are currently rear-wheel equipped from MB.

  • Is there a way to make the fonts on the map larger? Also, when a destination is not entered, the upcoming street is supposed to appear at the top of the display (ie where "Washington Valley Rd" is displayed). I notice that it will not tell me the upcoming street if the intersection is a "T" (like "hamilton" in the video), but if the street where to fully intersect like a "+" it will. Is there a way to set it so intersections like a "T" appear on top part of the display??

  • Been considering buying a 2012 Mercedes with the updated instrument cluster. Thanks for the great video...answers a lot of my questions.

  • @0:48 the voice is much more human and I did not know the system can say the town name such as "enter a Fairfield street". Are all 2008-10 models have the same COMAND system
