Love and passion for the waves brings Brazilian artist Telmo Anum to Australia in the mid 90´s. Born and raised in Olinda, Pernambuco in North Eastern Brazil, Anum represents a rich, musical universe, yet to be discovered by the world. While he performs in a Melbourne restaraunt, Swedish songwriter and producer Erici passes by. Erici had just launched "Brasilicum", a concept on Brazilian Popular Music, and steps in for a listen. A few weeks later they meet in Goldcoast, to try out some recordings. Erici plays a motif for Anum who instantly comes up with French lyrics. Back in Melbourne, Erici hooks about with Australian singer Neda Rahmani. They make English lyrics for the chorus. The "French song" is developed with further recordings in Coldcoast and is ultimately completed in Sweden, where Erici records Kristin Bertilius on flute. The song is finally titled "C'est l'amour'" (It´s Love) and expresses Anums great love and longing for his children, who now live in France. It is love that is universal and present regardless of distance in time and space.
"C'est l'amour'" is co-written by: Telmo Anum (BRA) - vocals, percussion, Neda Rahmani (AUS) - vocals, and Erici (SWE) - programming and keys. Flutes: Kristin Bertilius (SWE). The images are captured in Gold Coast and Melbourne 2010.
