  • if you have problems then when you solve them get vthe vid off why take up the server space for a vid if you did solve the prob by the way that is normal it does stop when the oil has spread around i have a nos xr fully worked all new parts in her still does the same its just apart of the norm for those bikes you can do everything it will come back i have seen a lot worse the pipes do get blocked clear them out it is some thing that they need just ask honda in japan

  • sheesh, i didn't know you were the google server police. Whats it to ya anyways? maybe we should have the grammer police on here too so when people type there is punctuation and i don't have to read it 3 times to understand it!

  • I hear two noises. One coming from the clutch area. A tin/nock type noise. My Pig had that noise. It was a worn clutch basket. There were notches in the basket causing the clutch plates to rotate and schuck back and forth making that exact noise. The second noise sounds like the rotor of the oil pump is rubbing/rotating against the oil pump/oil filter outter cover. Is there scoring on the inside of that oil pump/oil filter cover? Long live the Big Pig. I try to ride mine every day.

  • @golbaldoc1 lol. I have an XR650R with 19,000km on it and it has never made a noise anything like that (Although the microphone does make it hard to diagnose). Mind you, it is developing a few gremlins, primarily a carb that insists on lining itself with crap. Hopefully someone has use for this video. I am sure there is ample server space to host it until the end of time, so... SPAM MORE VIDS!

  • its probably the lifters. sometimes the thicker oil cant pass ass easy and theres not enough clearance.. what i would do is go back to a lower viscosity

  • Mine made the same sound and it was because the timing chain was worn out . when i pull it out it kept the same shape of the gears and was hard to straighten out . in the case is a removable oil passage tube that they start to rub on when they get worn .best of luck, xr650man

  • Hi mitch, i have one of this beast, if the sound go away whe she get warm then it´s normal. Dont care about it

    greetings
