I lived probably a mile or maybe two from the collapse at the time and I remember numerous fire trucks, ambulances and police vehicles speeding down my street after it happened. I had never seen anything like it..It was horrible feeling. My lights flicked shortly before the news broke about the collapse and afterwards I put two and two together and figured out the power flash was probably caused by the collapse itself

At the time I lived not too far from the collapse and I can remember seeing at least 5 fire engines plus the hennipen county sheriff department going to the seen. I've never seen as many emergency vehicles responding to one scene in my life!

Thank you! I have no TV, and this is great news relay to New York.

It's crazy, like a worse case scenario. Rush hour traffic and all.
