  • @MrScip1985 Wow--Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately.JERK!

  • @StephenJaques You're correct Stephen. However your opinion of Ireland is probably slightly coloured in that you don't pay tax, can't vote, live at home and attend a private school (maybe have a look at those privacy settings on your channel, way too much info on display). So keep up the singing, great falsetto but you're using vibrato to stay in tune on your lower register. Check out Julie Feeney as well. Judging by your taste you'll love her.

  • @Arsenogenics I don't need your permission to listen to music I enjoy, thanks. I hope for your sake that you can learn to appreciate people and their tastes some day, as well as how they feel about their country. If you think you have everything sussed, you don't- keep your petty opinions of my country to yourself.

  • @StephenJaques Unfortunately it is. Good for you if you like her. I wouldn't rate her at all and this performance is nothing short of masturbation, particularly the "innovative" guitar arrangement. Don't know how I got on to this page and apologies for the criticism. Carry on and enjoy it.

  • @Arsenogenics What I meant was that Ireland isn't just a 'parochial little place'. I agree that both artists are of a different calibre... Cathy's performance is flawed but I still love it.

  • @StephenJaques Thanks for that Stephen and nice singing. I don't understand your comment at all as it's phrased like an argument but isn't one. Putting Davey in the same class as Streisand is frankly laughable but I did it anyway. What characteristic are you referring to by the way?

  • @Arsenogenics What a parochial little person you must be to think that Ireland can be summed up by one characteristic. Look past stereotypes; they're bad.

  • Damn Man, I sing better than that.

  • @Arsenogenics Oh ya I agree, I love Ella's version too

So much power, she really has on of the greatest voices

  • @Darzy92 Probably, that is of course if you don't pick the worst version of the song ever recorded. Streisand couldn't get her chops around this no more than Cathy Davey. As for the blandness of Krall's version FFS! Get past whatever this current Irish diva is mangling and watch one of the many clips of Ella Fitzgerald on Youtube, available free for all. What a parochial little place Ireland is!
