Big cityscape speed painting, acrylic on canvas, 2ft high by 3ft long!

This was a painting I did inspired by some of my recent city photography from San Francisco. Took 3 hours to paint, which is a little longer than usual because of how big the canvas is.

I'm happy with the way it turned out, but what do YOU think!?

  • Love this Kyle. Excellence to the max. Have you ever thought about doing a scene of Lombard Street?

  • @daligoddess2006 Well you just made my light bulb in my head turn on! So yes, just NOW I thought about it haha

In fact, that sounds exciting, I think I'll paint that next!! Thanks Kim!!! =)

  • @shootinstar1786 Thhaaaaank you Kristen!!

  • Very Cool! Love it! And as for the portraits as per your last vid...it just takes practice and more practice. I also love to draw people and am not really that good at it but I've been practicing and trying to learn as much as I can from youtube, five pencil method, wetcanvase, drawing ning sites you know and I've gotten maginally better. I think that as long as I keep practicing it will all come together soon. Same with you don't give up! :)

  • @BuffAngela158 Yup I'll never give up hehehe You're right, just takes practice!

  • ... Really makes me wish I knew how to paint outside of the computer...

  • I love it! Watching you work is so exciting. I like the layers and dimension you put in your cityscapes you have now inspired me to try doing one. I have never done that before. Also you seem to have this freeness that I wished I had in the way you paint. Oh yeah Imma need your mailing info so we can do a collab. I'm am inspired and its gotta happen soon before I get way to busy again.

  • I admire how you seem to just 'go for it' with your paintings. I often spend too much time pondering how I'm going to pull an image off. Really nice job, nice use of atmospheric perspective!
