Liambas Hit on Fanelli - Lies, Lies, Lies, Mr. Branch's Inconsistency

This video shows two interviews by Mr. Branch after the ruling on Liambas. Watch both interviews and see Mr. Branches LIE. He royally put his foot in his mouth on this one. First he says it was NOT an illegal hit. But after realizing what he has truly said, he changes his mind on TSN. What a fool, I hope people notice thins.

David Branch and his RESPECT? Respect my ass, you only care about yourself. You are sending no message out there. Cowardly move, broke under the media spotlight.

heres my opinion on this i think it was a clean hit if u watch closely the ranger player looked to turn to absorb the hit but in doin so liambas speed and his checking ability made the ranger player head crashed hard into the boards i do agree with the suspension just cuz of the outcome of wat would probaby happen the two teams will meet again and they see liambas back on the ice hell is going to happen with out him on the ice it shouldnt be as bad

how can you agree with a suspension becasue of an injury?? but i do agree with the fact that he shouldnt play against the rangers again due to emotions.

well like i said he should get like a 10 game suspension just cause on the injury and he should not be allowed to play the rangers if he like sneeks on then he should get a year suspension a year suspension is just way too much

I remember when dave shultz and the philadelphia flyers first brought goon hockey because they had no talent to beat other teams in hockey they had to beat them in the alley. When there were only six teams every hockey player was a hockey player, now with the number of teams 80 percent cant be called hockey players they are just filler material.

The hit itself was NOT illegal, ie no elbow no knee no hit from behind..... however the circumstances leading to the hit were illegal and i would guess fall under the category of CHARGING because of the speed and distance from the victim.

Branch likes to play favourites. If it was the other way around and a Kitchener player had hit an Erie player like this there wouldn't have been this much attention. Kitchener just happens to be one of the "golden teams" in this league.

fucking chill out dude...Liambas and the team both said they arent going to appeal the suspension. It sucks for Liambas of course but he isn't arguing the suspension so why should anyone else?

In the NHL he wouldnt have been suspended at all I dont think but in the OHL they have to protect their players because they arent paid so they cant let guys take runs at people like that.

Is it clean? No, at the very least its a charge. Liambas isnt fighting it so why are you.

There's another vid on here from behind the boards. He raises his arms and the hit is elbow to head. That's not legal. The Mr. Branch part is no suprise. Those guys running leagues are like politicians. I think he was saving his own hide. If he hadn't suspended him like he did his(Branch's) job would be in jeopardy.
