...Seriously, he hates bright lights, especially sunlight (it'll kill him.) Well, I said I would be doing another NES Let's Play before going back to Dissidia, and this is it. We're gonna look at me playing Gremlins 2: The New Batch. By the way, in case you're wondering, yes it is based off of the crappy sequel (least when compared to the first one), and no it is actually a GOOD game.

Ah yes, before I forget, say it with me folks... "Here's the DISCLAIMER." I don't own any characters, music or anything else related to either the game or the series. I'm just merely showing off my skills (or lack there of) in this game. Anyway, I'll try to add in more stuff for the next part, but until then, enjoy part 1.

  • Youre in the lab where the scientist had potions for vegetables....remember the vegetable gremlin? Thats why there are giant tomatoes.

  • @jmkleman83 Of course I do, THAT'S the joke.

  • This game reminds me too much of Blaster Master, sound effects and the music tempo, and even the graphics then again, also made by Sunsoft too. Sunsoft did a fair share of good titles.

  • @MobiusZero4 Looking back on games that the Nerd (James Rolfe) reviewed, it reminds me that all NES games weren't always that good as they claimed to be. But even games made by Sunsoft (yes even Fester's Quest) were treated fairly well. Even if those games (whether good or bad) had minor flaws, at least they made good games.

  • You know, it could just be me, but that stage 2-3 boss makes me think of, like, a simplistic version of an Armos Knight statue, specifically as in the group of knights you fight as the boss of the Eastern Palace, I believe, in Zelda: A Link to the Past. He follows you around, but not that swiftly, and mostly just tries to do contact damage by jumping on you...okay, so I can't account for the pause-occasionally-to-shoot-at-you, but I only said "reminds me of", not "this is exactly like". ^_^;

  • @BohepansTheThird Well, you're not too far off there. ; )

  • ohhh what was that spell.... incendiare incantarte?

  • @EizentheAnimeniac True to that, it just surprises me how many titles with their name on it are very good like Batman, Journey to Silius, Blaster Master and like you said some with flaws here and there will be ones like Superman on the Sega Genesis.
