Hi, I really like your videos, Very informative, It really brings my reading together thank you. I have a question which has been riddling me, I am trying to make a motorcycle seat out of one inch checkerboard. My plan is to french seam strips of black and white, then cut that into strips and french seam those together. does that make sense? how would you go about making such a thing out of vinyl thanks.

I went to school and learned the basics then took those skills and taught my self everything else just by practicing.

Hi, great video's. what type of welt cord is that, is it hollow? Is that nylon or polyester thread, #69 or 92 and what servo motor did you chose for your machine. Thanks keep up the good work.

Hey Thanks for watching! The welt cord is hollow I buy it at keyston bros. I use 92 bonded polyester made by coats. The motor is made by frontier distributors it came on the machine when I ordered it from the Juki dealer here in Phoenix. Hope that helps!

I have been trying to figure out how to sew welting around curves and contours which has presented a big challenge for me as i am learning by recovering my own boat seat covers, after blaming the sewing machine, and getting another, then another...i now think it must be my skill or lack of...whats the secret?? I cannot find any video other than welting on a straight piece of material...Thanks, nice videos!!

Thanks for watching the videos! Try making some relief cuts in the welt wrap to help form around the curve. Also make sure you are sewing tight up to the welt . What exactly its the problem you are having?
