Pandemic Flu Song

This song was inspired by an editorial in the New York Times (Oct 25, 2006) recommending healthcare worker should just wear stocking to protect against pandemic flu. Performed at the American Public Health Association annual meeting in Nov. 2006.Sadly, healthcare workers worldwide are often not getting the protection they need from airborne disease,such as the current H1N1 (swine flu). In this current swine flu outbreak, CDC recommends N95 or better respirators and not surgical masks to protect healthcare workers. But many employers are ignoring this. Much evidence regarding airborne transmission and the need for true respirators has accumulated since this video was made. A recent report by the US Institute of Medicine (IOM) RESPIRATORY PROTECTION FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN THE WORKPLACE AGAINST NOVEL H1N1 INFLUENZA A (HTTP://WWW.NAP.EDU ) supports that health care workers who interact with patients suspected or confirmed to be infected with novel H1N1 influenza Ashould wear fitted N95 respirators, which filter better than looser medical masks. However, wearing N95 respirators should be only one element of workers' and health care organizations' infection control strategies.

Yes they like to slip a bit of irony in with

the mind control conditioning that Faux News

programme their viewers with. The Simpsons is one glaring example. Yes it is very funny at times

but the real joke for them is they are depicting the average dumb, racist and lazy viewer in the show. And they love it and cant get enough!
