Lee Hayward & Dave Ruel do a plyometric style leg workout of vertical jumps, box jumps, lunges, etc. to hit the legs hard without using any weights. This workout can be done without gym equipment!

  • can these get ur legs swole??

  • @SuperOs1000

Bodyweight workouts are a great complement to regular weight training workouts. But you still need good old fashion weight training for maximum muscle growth.

  • yo Lee. with all due respect, but isn't squatting on the tip of your toes bad for your knees? Well, that's how I experienced it

  • @dokterkarel

Squatting on the toes is the way the squat was originally done back in the old days of bodybuilding. In fact they didn't even call it a squat, they called it a Deep Knee Bend. Flat foot squatting came along long after that. Bottom line, just try it out and see how it feels. I personally find doing body weight squats on the toes isolates the quads better then flat foot squats.

  • Lee have you ever done any pistol squats? Suoer hard to do. no weight required.

  • @justbigjoe

Yeah, they are an awesome bodyweight leg exercise that you could do as well.

  • LOL at the kid at 2:40

  • You should do a video on pistol squats, practice, techniques and proper form. If YOu haven't done them in a while you know they will be difficult. I think it baffling that I can squat fairly good with a few hundred pounds at least but I can not do one lousy pistol squat to save my life....LOL!

  • baseball players should do this.

  • i just did this whole thing, sorta... except I used my apt ceiling that is probably like 7 or 8' for the jumps, but I'm short.
