I filmed this video to help out the new jumpmasters locate and identify the 1 minute check point the 30 second check point & Stand Bye time warnings on St Mere DZ. In the video you can see one of our recent Jumpmasters students Graduates. I'm showing him the ropes with Actions in the Aircraft. We really do this to get them more comfortable with the aircraft. When they graduate from Jumpmaster School they have only one JM in each aircraft once, this helps give them a warm and fuzzy feeling in this aircraft.

On our 1st pass you will see me throw a streamer to verify the panels. On the 2nd pass I sent out 3 wind dummies to reassure the streamer strike. On the 3rd Pass I'm sending out the VIP's. We do these extra passes to ensure the VIP's land on the Drop Zone. I edited the video down for time; it's usually 7 minutes from takeoff to touchdown.

With me are Soldiers from United States Army Special Operations Command performing a Jump over St Mere Eglise Drop Zone. USASOC is home to the elite fighting forces who conduct operations across the full spectrum of warfare, including unconventional warfare, counter-proliferation, direct action, psychological operations, special reconnaissance, civil affairs, foreign internal defense and information operations.

Filmed by JM Gator | Unit: USASOC | Location: St Mere Eglise Drop Zone; Fort Bragg, North Carolina | Aircraft: CASA 212 | Parachute: Maneuverable Canopy 6 (MC-6) Personnel Parachute System | Camera: GoPro Helmet HERO Wide

  • spain plane?

  • Very cool video. Thank you for posting.

  • I would feel so nervous with all those pilot chutes near me when I jumped, like I'd get my head tangled or something.

  • im lost where is the 1min and 30 sec mark?
