Shinobu Homma doing a solo taiko drumming performance at the Legacy Sakura Celebration in Oppenheimer Park.

The Legacy Sakura (Japanese cherry blossoms) were planted by Issei (1st generation Japanese Canadian) pioneers in 1977 as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of Japanese Canadians and as a wish for a better life for future generations.
