Can he hit this good with a wood bat?

Because an aluminum bat enhances how far the ball goes. It doesn't take that much skill to hit the ball far, you just have to know how to hit it. With wood it's all skill, no composite crap or anything.

@gak831 it does enhance but remember he is 10 or nine then and the guys who had skill with aluminum are now in the majors with would and theyu go yard if you watch the little league world series they hit bombs cuz they are good to hit a baseball you have skill so dont say it takes little skill

im glad for bbcor cuz i used a -3 easton speed and i hit one 340 ft and i tried a tpx exogrid 2 bbcor and actually had to try and swing and this kid is good at hitting

i played in this tournament and our team won...we are the branchburg bulldogs and beat Brick NJ in the final. I met and talked to Frank during the home run derby which got rained out and i never got a chance to hit.

@gak831 i agree im glad bbcor is in makes kids at least have to work harder to hit the ball. no kiddin i hit with a cf4 bat before with a lazy swing and hit it dead center at 330 last year i tried a bbcor tpx bat and i actually had to swing hard to hit a good ball out

@gak831 you know some people cant even hit a fly ball out of the infield on my old team. they really sucked. They used composite bats 2. That makes an even harder hit.
