I love how he looks at his mom and how she looks at her son!
TOTAL LOVE

TOTAL ACCEPTANCE
"There is power to coming out, there is liberation to coming out" - Judy Sheppard.
I heard those words when I was 44 years old. A year after I started coming out. I spent most of my adult life in denial and deeply in the closet... and every time I hear a young person share their story, I yell "GOOD FOR YOU"... and in the case of this young man, "GOOD FOR YOU!!!"

Made me cry, reminded me of my coming out experience and my fears.

It is in the OLD testament. Christ made the OT redundant, Christians are suppose to follow Christs example, and He loved everyone except religious people. As He said, those without sin cast the first stone. Before judging other peoples lives christians need to examine their own lives, then shut up. Remove the plank from their own eye, etc. There are lots of NT verses about religious people judging others, and their final destination, and it is not heaven.

I had tears as well. The problem is that churches teach that it is a choice. But explain why, if its a choice, that young kids go through deep depression, kids kill themselves over a choice. It is not a choice, anymore than hetereosexual people choose to be so. The Bible states that God created us in the womb, so He made us, if that means we are made gay, then it is Gods will, so churches need to except this. Yes there is 1 verse that says it is wrong, one out of thousands. Bugger the 500 limit

damn this made me cry!!! what an awesome mom <3
There are also verses about the way we are to cut our hair, dress, not wear makeup, women and men sitting in different areas of the church, not eat certain foods, how we are to treat slaves, etc. Today these have been put to one side, the reason given is that they were appropriate to that time period but don't apply today. But they don't apply the same rule to homosexuality. They are hypocrites.

Rule number one - stay the heck away from the religious ultra-conservative "American Taliban" nutjobs. Treat religion like your penis - keep it private and don't stuff it down kid's throats!
