This is practice footage from Crash and Burn (Gilligan and Cain) from 1993 and 1994. It mostly consists of things that didn't make it into our competition routine with a few repeats from the final act. It ends with a few solo tricks by me that were on the same tape and filmed by Jay. There are some great tricks in this video in my humble opinion.

  • 4:17 WOW!

  • On the commentary I said this was 7 rings. It's actually 8 rings. My mistake.

  • That's some really cool stuff. You really were a part of the cutting edge of team passing back then. Man do I wish I could have seen you two perform.

It is interesting how much the technical level has risen since then but people shouldn't compare juggling from different eras (the time before the internet juggling community).

  • We weren't really going for the highest technique. We were going for innovation, which I definitely believe we acheived in our competition act.

  • Great video and commentary. Thanks for posting.

  • great stuff! thanks for posting

  • i agree,

new patterns are needed, it gets boring if the good jugglers limit themselves to adding 1 or 2 more rings/clubs to the most well-known and familiar patterns.

  • Yes, your focus is quite perveivable. Some of those tricks are really neat and I'd like to see people do more variations on them.
