http://www.mum.edu A shortened version of "The origin of thought - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi." Maharishi asks: "We are all thinking all the time - but where do all these thoughts come from?" (Lake Louise, Canada, 1968)

  • i like that everyone tries to talk smart on these videos

  • --- In conclusion, Transcendental Consciousness is your own self-referral nature, and is an abstract field of unlimited and natural self-organizing power, which, as the mind expands/evolves, becomes more and more reflected in your mind, body, and life. It is called 'Enlightenment' and is most evolved state of life, enriching everything in the world naturally, and therefore also becomes the greatest contribution to a sustainable and vibrant world.

  • ---

When referring to thought, and the mind, the Unified Field is the field of mind, body, and existence, where diverse thoughts are transcended, and the mind reaches the abstract field of its own nature -- called "Transcendental Consciousness" by Maharishi. Transcendental Meditation is the simplest, most effective and natural way to experience the source of thought, and thereby gain the full power of the organizing ability that our universe is conducted by. We are that universe, and it is us.

The 'bubble' (impulse) arises from the quantum field, which Sir Roger Penrose has been calling "Quantum Consciousness". The quantum field has infinite possible variables that you are looking for, and the separation of consciousness and the universe is no longer considered to be supported by the evidence by many advanced physicists today. The quantum field is ultimately based in what physicists theorize as the Unified Field. -- cont'd

  • But then, where does the bubble arise from? A conventional bubble for example, is a pocket of air within the sea, or the carbonation on the inside of an aluminum can, even dew on early morning leaves. A conventional bubble can take many forms. And I think thats the point. To look at thought as a bubble is to look at thought as an aspect of nature.

There are millions of variables needed in which to create a bubble.

There were millions of variables needed in which to create this thought.

  • transcending to the origin of thought is cool. as long as Seinfield keeps practicing, i'm sticking with it as well.
