Learn to Drive on Ice ! Find a Large Frozen Parking Lot with out light posts and get out an have some fun !! Then when in a Blizzard watch what is close that you can see like the line on the right side of the road and the refelector poles " If your state does not not have reflector poles "Get 'em" .. Ease down the road and be prepared to Ditch ! When an 18 wheeler does not see you ! More multi car pile ups happen in a fog and / or a snow storm. Turn into the skid with out over doing It !

Wow. Take this video down. Nothing she said will help you in those situations. Take a winter driving course. Even if it costs a few bucks. You will only learn by driving.

Idiot. Your tires don't "lose air" in the cold. The lower air pressure is a result of the cold.

@Anon514 Interesting thing to do is undershift without applying accelerator. Car will start to engine break and you will still have some tire slip.
In the vid lack of sensitivity was sorted out by mighty computer =P

I love this video. She knows what she's talking about. If you try to stop, your car will just keep going in the direction of the momentum. Your wheels need to be rolling if you want control of the car.
If something suddenly obstructs the road in front of you, you need to go around, or have the better accident. Putting your car into a snowbank is much better than hitting another car... Right? Right!
be cool

Disagree with using the gas peddle...if you start skidding...you shouldnt floor your way out of it like she was unintentionally doing by saying not to floor it...but she gave enough gas to make the wheels spin
If you start skidding you shouldnt touch the gas or the brake...instead just work on steering your way back into control
