The Glacier, inspired by the true story of two guys who had become friends over a conversation in an elevator, discussing adrenaline sports, girls and the best snowboarding spots in Colorado. The film takes place in Denver, Colorado and follows these two friends as they embark on a week of adventure in the city of Denver followed by the next week where they find themselves on a snowboarding, camping trip to Saint Mary's Glacier. Saint Mary's Glacier is located two hours outside of Denver and is one of the only places in Colorado that has rideable snow year round. It was July, 21st 2003, a fun camping trip turned into a 5 hour search and rescue mission, blood loss, a broken pelvis and one friend helping the other to survive.
