Introducing a great, funky sounding chord for blues, jazz, rock, etc., officially called the "Dominant 7th Sharp-nine" chord. (On sheet music, this chord would be notated as G7#9, for example.) I assume here that you already know some things about the standard three-chord Blues. Soon, I'll be posting videos on piano improvisation, including Blues, which are targeted more for absolute beginners. I welcome requests for new tutorials on piano or drum-related topics. Thanks for watching!

  • Great! My BD was giving me a lesson on that today for jazz band vamp and soloing. I understood him, but I wanted a little bit more to completely comprehend the idea. Thank you
