@akay611 The Aventador does not even reach 215 MPH..

blows my mind.....a 20 year old car can still outrun a spanking new 2012 Aventador (though it helps the McLaren weighs 1000lb's less)
McLaren set the bar SOOO damn high, it was god back in the 90's, and still is now adays
-
(give me reply here)that lamborghini aventador's launch control accelaration from 0-215mph
-
It still amazes me how fast the F1 is even by today's standards. I know there is just about nothing to the car but engine and body but still, the thing is a rocket.

hey,the mclaren is with launch control but not lamborghini is with launch control why?(give me reply here)because lamborghini aventador does 0-300km/h under 18-19seconds and 0-322km/h under 22-23seconds with launch control(on)
From 0 the aventador would have won until after 340km/h

@E46325mod
can you give me evidence to prove that?
A lambo reaches topspeed (350kmh GPS) in about sixty seconds, according to AMS' topspeed vid on the Aventador.. A mclaren F1 reaches 386kmh in 45 seconds, according to the record run vid.

the mclaren does not have a launch control in the first place. but aventdaor does not do 0-200mph in 22s. Thats bugatti veyron territory. The actual figure is 0-200mph 30s and 0-300kmh 22s.

@IPROFITDON
the mclaren f1 has a very good engine and body. Its lighter than almost all the other supercars (which actually look like cars, not like ariel atom) and the most aerodynamic body shape ever. Even tho the engine produces very little horsepower, it still ends up being very fast.
The only reason why the aventador was slightly ahead below 200kmh is its super quick paddle shift time. A mclaren f1 with paddle shifters would most probably outrun a bugatti veyron.
