Complete episode originally aired Sept. 25, 1996.

Great Railway Journeys was a recurring series of travel documentaries produced. In each episode a presenter, typically a figure from the arts or media, would make a train journey, usually through a country or to a destination with which they had a personal connection.

"The High Andes to Patagonia" originally aired on September 25, 1996. See my other video - Greatest Little Railways - which had more serious aesthetic, production, and commentary attributes than this one. "Patagonia" is a light fun travel show by comparison, but both videos are meaningful and entertaining in their own way.
