  • what did you have to modify exactly. i wanted to do this convertion myself but not sure if the th350 will fit. but want to keep the shifter. how did you modify the engine mounts? i saw custom driveshaft witch i can understand but is the sump in the merc front or rear cos my other idea was 302 ford efi

  • you will need to contact us at the shop for that information. go to the contact page of our website and send an e-mail to the boss, rclark@...... Let him know what it is you are trying to and reference our swap progect.

  • Hold the brakes until the tires break loose. After they break loose put your foot in it all the way!! Manually shift the gears. The ZZ4 is an awsome tire smoker!!

  • We've installed a lot of zz4's... Great motor!

  • Just a reminder folks. If you dont want to be blocked or have your comments removed, leave out the profanity and keep your criticisms respectful. My kids look at these vids, I dont want them reading a bunch of x-rated comments.

  • thats no v8.

  • What's the smallest car you've worked with? I'd love to see you do something like a Fiat Topolino with a Suzuki Cappuccino engine and transmission and made to look like a Harry Westergard era taildragger.

  • why put v8 when you could put a merc diesel in it??

  • @fomocoboy

check w123 v8 560te they know all about it

  • why would anyone put this cluttery piece of junk in this refined merc?

  • @800hotrod5 penis

  • @stopglobalswarming No they didn't they had a 2.8L DOHC Inline6

  • @77winkleman You're right, the W116 450SEL from 1975 to 1981. But that's an old one, i was talking about modern MB engines that are now in production.

  • umm weak dude. my 68 benz with chevy v8 would pound that thing lol

  • @pa3op89nbg Don't forget the 6.9 liter v8 from the late 70's. Not as much power as the newer engines but it did have more displacement

  • The US-Bumpers look ugly - prefer the german version.
