Two african cichlids fighting? I'm not sure what they're doing. Does anyone have an experience with this? They don't seem to be hurting each other. Also, I have that large chiclid in a cage because it bullies everyone else. Anyone got any advice?
i have the same kind of Chiclits they do this mating dance too all the time but never seem to have any fry .... the male must be shooting blanks or something
Ha! Good luck trying to keep these particular african species from trying to kill each other. I wonder what would happen if you let some asian carp from china into the tank? Or even just sell them some bullets?
I agree it is a dominance issue they are circling way too fast I have been raising chiclids for 10 years . They will resolve it if you put more rocks and and tunnels I use bottles old ones that are broken . use the sand to dull the sharpness of the bottles . 1 fish per gallon you can group them the more fish the less issues .
yep they are mating :)

they are not fighting nor mating, let the tank size tell you the problem, but nice fishes.
