"Nick... I'm sorry... but I think it's Joe."
He sighed. "And there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't want things to ever be weird. I just wanna know that you'll always be my best friend."
"Forever, and always Nick." I smiled, and he pulled me into a hug. "Give me a chance to explain myself first though."
He nodded.
"You and I... we've known each other for so long. If we were together, and it didn't work out, who knows what could happen? But with Joe, if it doesn't work out, I always know you'll still be there for me. Whether if its romantically, or as a friend."
"You're such a nerd, Sel." He snorted.
"Hey! That came from the heart Nick!" I glared at him for 2 seconds, but his smirk made me start laughing anyway.
"Best friends?" I asked.
"Forever."

1 Year Later..

"Joe! Give me it!" I said, wrestling with him to get my engagement ring back. Honestly, I never thought I'd be the type to get married out of high school, but it didn't seem so weird, my *fiance* being Joe.
"Okay, okay." He laughed. "Get off of me, Sel."
"Joe, you're such a jerk." I pouted.
He took my hand and put the ring on my finger. "I'm sorry," he whispered and kissed my lips. "Better?"
I smiled. I hated him for his hypnotic smile. "I guess."
The door opened, and Nick walked through to greet us, rain droplets glimmering on his curly brown hair.
"Hey guys," Nick said to us.
"Nick!" I ran up and hugged him. "We haven't seen you in forever!"
"Uhm yeah... two hours seem like forever when you're... what have you guys been doing?" He chuckled.
"Waiting for you. Selena didn't wanna go anywhere without you." Joe rolled his eyes playfully.
"Oh really?" Nick turned his head to look at me. I blushed.
"Don't flatter yourself Nicholas." I turned away.
Joe laughed. "Well are you ready?"
"Yup. What movie are we gonna see?" Nick asked as we were walking to the front door.
"Well, I was thinking The Last Song." Joe suggested.
Nick rolled his eyes. "Well I was thinking Avatar."
"Well, I'M saying New Moon." I smiled.
"NO!" Joe and Nick said in unison.
I crossed my arms, stopped in my path, and glared at them both. I raised my eyebrows.
"Fine..." Nick and Joe mumbled.
I smiled and walked in the middle of them, arm-in-arm with both.
We drove away, happy to get back to the way it was before.

((Sorry for the sucky ending. I'm not too good at those. Haha anyway, I think I'll be starting a new series. This time I think I'm gonna make it one of those fan/JoBro love stories though... maybe with my name again... haha(; anyways, comment, rate, do it!:)
