Wow, that is a great spiritual lesson. I never thought about how you could run across attitudes in Africa like was was displayed in the first children. That would be have been dissapointing to me, but you pulled some great spiritual insight out if it and shared it with the rest of us! We need to be the one who loves God for who He is and not for what he can give us. Awesome.

This is amazing. What a beautiful illustration of our relationship with Jesus...I think I am more like the first two than the third...and I am an old lady! Blessings to all those children.

The first boy's name is Edwardo!!!! Trust me I know this little boy really well!!!!!!!! He is a good kid but he will manipulate you!!!! That is how they have learned how to survive!!!! I think edwardo is like 16 yrs. old. I was in Pemba in 2007 the first time and the then again in 2009.
