UFO hovering over Phoenix Arizona 2010

On the night of July 4, 2010 I had just finished having some friends over for a barbeque. One of my friends stayed later into the early hours of July 5 and as we were outside talking he noticed and then pointed out to me something very unusual in the southeatern sky. A large very bright object was hovering above the tree line in the southeast. The object was still very far away despite the fact that it looked so close.
As I observed the object it would move slightly but really not too much as it continued to hover for hours in the same spot. A bright light seemed to accompany it to the side and would move more than the object itself. At times the object would emit red and blue strings of light that would travel down what appeared to be legs and there were approximately six to eight of these on the object, making it resemble a spider.
At my friend's suggestion I went to get my still camera and took only one photograph that is amazing to me. In this photo the object is clearly seen but not as I saw it with the naked eye. The object that I saw resembled a star or spider in the sky while the one in the photo is more of a combination of geometric shapes and looks like a flying tractor or a wrench. Every night since that one I have looked into the sky and have seen the same object that I saw on July 4 only it is hovering much higher in altitude. It always appears in the southeast and as the earth rotates throughout the night is moves along with it, almost always ending in the western sky at dawn.
As the weeks and months have gone by I have noticed that other objects, identical to the one I saw are hovering over the skies of Phoenix. There is usually one north of me in I assume North Scottsdale, one over the center of the city and one in the far northwest. All of these objects are exactly similar. All of them hover over the spots they are seen in, all of them give off very bright lights and look like stars at first glance. All of them give off twinges of flashing red and blue light and flash themselves occasionally.
I've often wondered what these objects could be and every explanation I can think of is ridiculous, doesn't fit or seems implausible. These are UFOs by their very definition (unidentified flying objects) and there is no way that the government or military don't know about them.
Since October the numbers of objects in the sky have increased. To the naked eye they appear when at a high altitude to be stars. When you look at them closely and stop and watch for just a moment you know that they are not stars. They are not airplanes, they are not swampgas or even weather baloons. They are more than likely not satellites and if they were when was the last time you heard of a satellite hovering so close to the ground as it appeared in my picture.
Since early October I have noticed that their numbers and activity are increasing not only over the Phoenix night sky but all over the world. On October 13 some reports say that over 50 of these objects appeared over New York City during the day and night. It received local and national news coverage. Similar reports have appeared in El Paso, Dublin Ireland and especially in China where on October 6 the Chinese authorities closed an airport in Mongolia for fear of collision with airplanes.

@Theziz8 This was only the first time I saw a UFO. Every night since then identical craft some close, some far away can be seen in the night sky over Phoenix. But, seeing is believing so you have a personal invitation from me to come to my house in Tempe any night and witness what I witness on a nightly basis now. One catch though: If you come over you would have to agree to be taped on your actual reaction to what you see - positive or negative with no editing. Deal?

I live in Phoenix also...we see this stuff all the time PPL, this is no joke, hoax, something to get hits on youtube. We really see this stuff. So much that we really don't care, it is almost common knowledge here in Phoenix, when we talk of UFO...everyone has seen them here, no big deal.. not much we can do about, if they were going to do something they would have..no one is scared. they may be here walking around with us
