Lighting Demo of 25th Street Theatre Lighting Grid. Music added by Matt B of Fullhouse Productions. During it's heyday from 1986-1990, this club was one of the pinnacles of clubs for its time. 25th Street Theatre was on the level of legendary clubs like Studio 54 in NYC and STARCK Club in Dallas. This club inspired me due to the lighting and sound. Richard Olsen, Richard Keiffer, Jimmy Bartlett, Jake Vanek, Thurman, Keith, Michael S., Tom, LJ, Rob Bob & many others made this club a legend for Waco & Texas.

  • It's great to see the old light show, but it was a hell of a lot better actually being underneath it dancing to the mix. We miss you 2-5.

  • @apexdjs aman!

  • Gotta love the 80's the lighting was and is still the best! Love the ufo at 3:26 would like to get my hand on one of them!

  • @vintagelightman03 well their is one for sale on Ebay Item number: 320599156827 AstroDisco3. It's not mine and it not identical to the one in the video which has the par 38 pinspots.

  • @DJLoop1995 yeah i actually already have one but would like to get a hold of the one with par 36 on sides top and bottom. It actually looks like the Fabriluz ufo star but there were numerous companies that produced a very similar light in the mid 80's. i actually made an offer on that one months ago but they turned it down but thanks for the heads up.

  • @vintagelightman03 I would have to ask my friend Robert but I believe those were Clay Paky as well. Richard had them in the club but not for long since he did not like them and they were sold to a bar in Dallas. He replaced them with the Astrodisco's 3.

  • It was an HONOR to operate this light show at the 25th Street Theatre in Waco, TX (1989-1992), and later on at the Arcadia in Dallas (1992-1993)........I hate to repeat an old cliché, but they truly don't make them like that anymore.
