A tribute gallery featuring the Italian legends Marco Tardelli and Antonio Cabrini, who starred for Juventus from 1975 to 1989 and for Italy from 1975 to 1987.
Antonio and Marco were best friends on and off the field. They shared the same passion and enthusiasm (La grinta), and led Juventus and Italy to many beautiful successes, including the great 1982 triumph at the World Cup in Spain. The exciting goals that they scored had in them a special passion that made the 2 players favorites in the heart of all Juventini, Italians and football lovers all over the world.
A nice moment from the 1982 World Cup was the game against Argentina, during which the 2 players scored Italy's winning goals, put the Azzurri on the right track (Smiles to Pablito Rossi) towards the Final against West Germany. In the Final, after Cabrini missed a penalty and accompagnied Rossi in the nets for the opening goal, Tardelli scored a wonder goal that immortalized him in football history. His crazy run after the goal and wild 'Goaaaaaal' scream is since named after him: "L'Urlo di Tardelli"...
Thank you Antonio and Marco for all the beautiful memories and excitment that you offered us!
Grazie Mille!

  • How did you get these photos ? :D Some of them are very incredible, like the one at 4:38 with Scirea, Cabrini Rossi and Tardelli who appear drunk ahahah

  • @ILSignorAntonio These photos come from various sources, including the internet. But most are scanned from French and Italian magazines. Some I took myself when the Azzurri visited Beirut in 1983. The one at 4:38 is from France Football in 1984. Did you see my tribute on Bearzot: Papa Bearzot e Suoi Ragazzi?

  • @footoldies Oh yes i just ended watching that video :) It's better if you write papà Bearzot and not papa, just becasuse in italian papa = the pope :D and papà = father. I guess you meant to say the father :)

  • @ILSignorAntonio Thanks for the correction! It's done. I appreciate your help...
