@ruski1945 Russia and China ran as partners in this new frontier. China endured it without losing mass lands to ethnic groups, while USSR was not so fortunate. However, under Russia's leaders in recent years, IT, production, agriculture, and selling of abundant resources (gas in the South and oil in the North) has propelled Russia into the positive (revenues) again. China is enjoying such fruits of the labor too by going away from Mao doctrines. We are being better nations so we should be proud.

@LinWeiHuang - Actually I stated "Napoleonic history" which actually doesn't fully elude to the Emperor himself, but that said, what I was getting at with that comment was that Napoleon won most of his battles and wars with tactics, not sheer unit size - the one time he relied on "shock and awe" (the Russian Campaign), he lost. The second time he relied on size (Waterloo), he lost. And I admire Napoleon, so don't worry...plus have you noticed my avatar...yeah...it's Napoleon, so chill out.

@ComradeMing - I recommend you read about the Korean War in greater detail. In 1945, the Korean peninsula was split, the North going to the Soviet Union, and the South occupied by the U.S. The North had the Soviet army, navy and air force at its FULL disposal... So no, don't romanticize Chinese involvement, plus it's nothing to be proud of, look what your country helped set-up, and look what the "world" helped set up.
