A very neat idea ... the results are pretty awesome. Nevertheless, this view is better then that one on the handle bar in my opinion. I can imagine that it may look pretty cool if you face the camera on the front tire in your driving direction that you can see the tire an the course.

I saw this angle in a video the other day and just thought I'd try it. It's a real pain to tape the camera to the bottom bracket and still be able to get to the buttons and have the cranks turn. The thing that looks strange to me is the chain seems to drag in the dirt sometimes, but I don't think it is. Experiment over.
