This is a little timelapse i made with my new WB2000 and i have to say that i think it came out great. The total original lenght of the video was about 80 minutes, and it's sped up a 100 times faster. Enjoy!

  • Hello! I need your help!

I can't make time lapse work on my wb2000 at all! I select interval mode, interval and number of shots in menu, but when i semi-press shutter button, drive mode resets to single shot! I tried several times and waited several minutes, but unfortunately no further image acquisition occured.

Maybe i should update the firmware?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @dining0philosopher Just read the manual man:

    - 1 Rotate the drive mode dial to Interval.

    - 2 Set your interval options in the menu

    - 3 Turn off the camera.

    • The camera automatically turns on and takes the first shot

after about 1 minute. After the first shot, the camera turns off.

    • The camera automatically turns on after the interval you set

    and takes the next photo.

    Works on mine!

  • I can't seem to make the time lapse work right, at the end of the process

all I get is a series of shots with no way of running like a video. Will it run on the camera? My Canon g9 makes easy time lapse videos to be run on the camera.

  • @schooder You mean the interval function? With the interval function, you just get a series of pictures you have to put together yourself with a program like Quicktime Pro.

  • Very nice!

Are you using the software within the camera to create this video?

    BTW:

I posted a lot of Samsung TL350/WB2000 video samples too. Check out my channel.

  • @TechJoeNo1 No, edited it together later, with some color correction, but not much.

  • @thewardrums My SONY P10 records video until the memory card is full (1GB is about 1:15 record time). The "reason" Samsung made the bad choice is because in Europe there's an extra 8% tax on "video cameras", so they sell the EXACT same hardware in both markets. SONY was smarter they sell different hardware (actually just a firmware mod) models to allow the rest of the world "unlimited" video. So sad Samsung wasn't smart about "solving" to the tax issue (hurts customers).

  • @smoothntallGWM Yeah, i just took a couple vids of 20 minutes. I heard there's something with the law that if a camera can take video in one run longer than 20 something minutes it legally has to be called a video-camera. That's why all the still cam's have limits for video, i believe.

  • @thewardrums So you took 4 videos (each 20 minutes) ? Do you know if any hacked firmware downloads will allow the camera to take videos longer than 20 minutes ? BTW, I just bought this camera and love it (so sad that Samsung limited the video time length).

  • Hello,

Can the camera be plugged in to an external power source for long interval shooting?

    jb

  • @jaapsoad thank you, i just done so

  • @MrScienceFUN If you are referring to the interval function: it automatically shuts off and turns on to make the next shot.
