Party given by Option One Mortgage. A private party. Flew in 100's of people from all over the county. They rented the Pond for one night. I was there. I kept wondering why they didn't just give everyone $10,000.00 each at work and forget the party. This was when the sub-prime market was on fire. The excess was frightful. New exotic cars turned up in the parking lot every day from the money that was coming in. I was pretty much just a clerk, making $75K a year. I make about $12/hr now

Ooooh, brilliant. We shared the same barber on Pico Blvd for a time. Knew he was round when you'd see an immaculate T-bird outside, no door handles, and then Brian, tats everywhere, saying "cool daddy-o" in the mirror to his stylist. Extremely nice fella.
