mickey ward was a great legend in my mind because he used his best weapon he had to fight which was his heart and desire to win a fight. he stood in your face and took your best shot and keep on coming. he used techniques like switching from southpaw to conventional to confuse his opponent and bait him into tensing up and throwing more power draining punches that ward set his mind to take all fight waiting for the right moment to use all his power for a uppercut ko to the most painful spot liver

WHY WASTE PRECIOUS SPACE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELVES YOU SELFISH GREEDY INTERNET GUMMIES.lets talk about what you need to train like mentally to enter a fight and take punishment so severe that it only makes you want more and more and more it seemed like an even fight comparing punching power. what gotti did great was use his speed combos to get in and jab out using footwork to create space to try and take away wards best chance which was to tire gotti and get close to land uppercut body liver shot

there was a big difference in this fight that ive never heard anyone mention before. whenever gatti hurt ward, micky never showed it. he had a great poker face. but when ward hurt gatti, he showed ward he was hurt with those grimaces. whenever micky saw this he jumped on him.
