People who put down metal bands with female singers piss me off quite a lot. I think female fronted metal bands are the best metal bands there are. I don't like metal with male lead singers usually because they don't sing... they just do that nasty sounding scream/growl crap. By the way, this song is awesome.

@hyperfast87 I don't quite agree with this, but neither do I agree with putting down female vocals. Both can be good and bad. My own preference is male only because I also do like the growling in addition to singing. And for growling I do love Angela Gossow so I do not consider that I have any particular gender bias. If more women growled I would like more female volcals, of that I'm sure :)

But Ambeon doesn't require growling or male vocals to sound good. It's perfect this way.

I got nothing against female vocals, except the fact that some do it like generically barbie sounding shit..Like this....But a kid did it and it's still pretty good IMO. @Suiton1 Enya is not bullshit. And there are female bands with vocalists who can sing in a agressive way like Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, Vanguard, After Forever, Elis (with Sandra Schrelet), Nightwish, just saying few examples.

First of all, for you to say "I don't like metal with male lead singers usually because they don't sing... they just do that nasty sounding scream/growl crap" is proof that you know NOTHING about metal, nothing, zero, zilch, nada. You shouldn't speak about it every again.

Secondly, female fronted bands would get respected if they sounded like Doro for example, not this Enya bullshit that they're all aiming for.
