The lives that we admire tend to be those that give everything they have for the cause of their mission. Despite weariness and exhaustion they fight and persevere until the very end. Such was the life of Charles Wesley, author of thousands of hymns in his lifetime, many of which we still sing today.
This video clip was taken from the sermon 'The Rebel's Guide to Joy in Exhaustion' which can be found at http://www.marshillchurch.org/media/rebels-guide-to-joy/the-rebels-guide-to-j...
John and Charles Wesley were IMO the most influential men of their time. People whose hearts are on fire for Jesus are the true radicals of their own time and the only true revolutionaries with any significance. Most Methodist churches have old copies of the Book Of Worship that they will be glad to share.. At times the Book is re-edited and the old one is scrapped unless somebody wants them.
