I think it's interesting that the whole world tweeted about 11:11AM, but only the USA seemed to care about 11:11PM. I imagine this is because what we call 11:11PM is 23:11 globally, which isn't nearly as remarkable.

Yes, it sucks that many don't care about such a significant date like 11/11/11. The next 11/11/11 won't be on until 2111, and by then most of us will be really old and saggy, unless facelift surgery is better by then. :P And not only that, but this 11/11/11 in 2011 is the ONLY one that lies on a Friday! :D They won't be another Friday, 11/11/11 until 2411, and yet people still don't care. :\

is because before the 11:11 am tweet for US, is already the 11:11 pm for the rest of the world. Buy the time US hit 11:11 pm, the world moved on to the next day. Thats y, have noting to do with 23:11

This most recent 11/11/11 was not the first and, as you pointed out, certainly not the last. Although it only happens once every few hundred years, there are dates/events that are much rarer such as once every thousand, ten thousand or million years. So what exactly makes this one so special?
